Sextet entstand durch die Uebernahme
des Hula Clubs, Basel, im Jahre 2005
von den Hawaiian-Memories und
Esther Soland. Zwei Mitglieder der
legendären Hula Hawaiians gesellten
sich dazu.
Neben Hawaiimusik erleben Sie auch,
zwei- dreimal monatlich,
verschiedene Melodien aus aller
Welt, diese Darbietungen mit
Terminierung entnehmen Sie aus der
"Events" Seite.

The legendary Hula Club in Basel did
open in 1979 as a bandcave of the
famous "Hula Hawaiians". Today the
"Dreamteam" of professional Hawaiien
guitar player Heinz Haag and barmaid
Esther Soland still run the place.
Heinz is also part of the house band
"Hula Hawaiian Memories" along with
Werner Brunner, than the former
"Hula Hawaiians" muscians Werner and
Ruedi Kunz. All those six strings
acrobats, aged between 63-74 still
lay fingers on their guitar, ukulele
and bass. If you are once in Basel,
visit this unique place from the
past.
